How to take away your reporting headache.

Having clear and accurate information on your business is imperative for strategic thinking and in turn strategic decision making for business operations and business growth.



However, what surprises me is the number of managers who still take hours out of their working week to compile data for weekly and monthly reporting meetings.


Is this a good use of managements time?

Not in my opinion, I believe that wherever possible reports should be available in real time and give accurate information, failing that they should at least be standardized and allow you to run them quickly.
